Welcome to Loughborough Town Hockey Club

Welcome to Loughborough Town Hockey Club's website. Loughborough Town is a fast growing energetic club based in the East Midlands. With teams in a range of leagues with the 1st XI playing in the East Midlands Premier Division. LTHC strives to develop the potential of players of any level, whether they're 6 or 60, new or experienced.

The club runs 5 Men’s team, 1 Ladies team and a Veterans team. The Men play in the MRHA Leagues in Divisions varying from Midlands Premier to East Midlands, whereas the Ladies play in the Leicestershire & Rutland Women’s League.

Over recent years, the club has expanded with much success, its junior section. The club now run an U13 and Under 15 youth team which compete in local tournaments. The juniors train once a week on the EHB astroturf from 8 to 9pm on a Wednesday evening.

At Loughborough Town Hockey Club, we welcome players of all ages and all abilities. Our key aim is to develop the abilities of our players no matter what your previous experience of hockey. The club coaching is second to none and Training takes place on a Tuesday night for the Mens 1st and 2nd teams as well as the Ladies 1st team from 7.30 to 9.30pm on the University’s water based pitch. Training for the rest of the club takes place on the EHB astroturf on Wednesday’s 8 to 9.30pm.

As well as the playing side, Loughborough Town Hockey Club is a great place to make new friends. The club has an active social scene with many club functions throughout the year. The end of season dinner gives the club the chance to reward and recognise achievement and success within the club. The club also arranges two hockey tours over the May and August Bank Holiday. Loughborough Town Hockey Club really is a great place to play hockey, make friends and socialise.
